Brie Larson Confirmed As Captain Marvel Captain Marvel Gets Closer To Picking A Director
After a lengthy search that has included a good number of female directors, the choice of the pair feels in keeping with the Marvel tactic of finding those who have worked in the indie field and elsewhere, but seemed ready to bring their talents to the MCU. Guardians' Nicole Perlman and Inside Out's Meg LeFauve have been at work on the script, which will introduce the cinematic world to Carol Danvers, a skilled test pilot whose DNA is melded with that of Kree warrior Mar-Vell. Subsequently, she gains powers such as flight, enhanced strength, damage resistance and the ability to absorb and re-channel energy.
